Subscription Review: Blend the Beauty December Fab Bag

This month’s Fab Bag was received a little late but the wait was worth it. With a couple of days left to book, I would suggest reading this post and heading straight to their site, if you like what you see.

The Bag this month is a beautiful clutch format. I was happy to receive the silver one but there are other color variants randomly sent out too.

A curation of products to prep you up for the New Year party with the star definitely being Sugar’s latest launch.

  1. Sugar Blend The Rules Eyeshadow Quad

As per the usual drill, this was a product of choice, where we had the option to chose the shade. I chose #14 Skyfall as had eyes on that beautiful blue shade. And am I happy about it!!

The beautiful colour payoff is unexpected from such an affordable quad. Two matte base shades and two beautiful shimmer shades to transform your look. The shade ranges are amazing and they have a wide spread to chose from. Definitely going to pick up more of these quads.

Price: ₹699 for 5gm

  1. Alanna Desiccated Coconut and Saffron Skin Brightening Scrub

While the quad excited, I must say this sample quite disappointed in terms of its quantity. Considering it to be a face & body scrub, a 20gm bottle is quite meagre for even a trial. It has the rich fragrance of saffron and seems to be quite a good product which can be tried out as a face scrub as it will be sufficient only for that.

Price: ₹340 for 20gm

  1. Bella Voste Premium Nail Enamel

Received this in shade 17 Be My Hero and absolutely love it. With an extremely smooth texture, this nail enamel spreads easily and dries quickly, leaving behind an amazing chrome finish. A nice huge bottle of 9ml, this nail enamel is 5 Toxic Free and I absolutely love their shade range.

Price: ₹249 for 9ml

  1. Blossom Kochhar Aroma Magic Cocoa Butter & Vanilla Body Cream

Another tiny little sample in this month’s bag was again a little disappointing. I am loving Blossom Kochhar products and this just added to the list. To tiny to be used as a body cream, this works great as a hand cream. Extremely moisturizing, it has a strong fragrance of cocoa butter and subtle vanilla hints. The product if used as a body cream, claims to help lighten stretch marks.

Price: ₹26 for 10gms

  1. Bliscent Peppermint Foot Soak.

My recent obsession…foot soaks!! This helps in ending a tiring day in the best possible way. A tub of warm water and some peppermint foot soak is the most amazing way to end the day, before getting into bed and this one adds glitter to that rainbow! The fragrance is amazing, it takes you to a place of relaxation. Love it!

Price: ₹200 for 100gms

Love the quad and of course that makes the bag so worth it, and the foot soak and nail enamel are amazing add ons. A little disappointed at the extremely tiny samples of the body cream and scrub but I guess that is to balance the cost. They did manage to maintain expectations in terms of the brands included because all of them are awesome brands and that does make up for it all.
