Another amazing product, I just have to rave about. I am so in love with it from the first use itself, but decided to wait a while so I can give you all a complete review about the product. I am talking about an amazing makeup cleanser, probably one of the best I have used among the affordable lot – Biotique Botanicals Bio Almond Oil Soothing Face & Eye Makeup Cleanser.
Something about the brand
As the name suggests, this brand is committed to using 100% botanical extracts and promise naturally-derived Ayurvedic beauty products, advanced by scientific expertise. They believe in curating products based on authentic Indian traditional medicine, advanced by cutting edge Swiss biotechnology—a beauty legacy built on product purity, sustainability, universality, pioneering research, development and manufacturing for over 25 years.
What totally blew me away was the fact that they don’t believe in covering up problems, biotique treatments focus on eliminating them.

All Biotique products are made of 100% organically-pure, preservative-free ingredients and renewable resources – cultivated, gathered, blended and manufactured in the foothills of the Himalayas.
Ayurveda is the time-tested, natural medicinal system that treats the total individual, promoting prevention as well as cure, for a healthy mind, body, spirit and senses. It is the science of life; the Sanskrit words ‘Ayur’ means ‘life’ and ‘veda’ means science or knowledge.
The Product & My Experience
Biotique Botanicals Bio Almond Oil Soothing Face & Eye Makeup Cleanser
This is definitely one of those miracle make-up removers that dissolve out the toughest of water-proof make up in a few seconds. Yes, it is an oil cleanser so you would need to use a face-wash after this but it does an amazing job of removing makeup, even the toughest, stubbornest kinds.
The toughest makeup to remove is generally eye makeup, and that is also my favorite kind! I used to dread having to deal with those raccoon eyes when trying to remove my kajal, mascara and eyeliner. I hated to go back several times and tug at the delicate skin around the eyes, but believe me, this has taken care of all those worries.
It is a light yellowish oil, quite a runny liquid, which can be dabbed on to a cotton round and used to dissolve out makeup. Just apply to the skin and give it a couple of seconds to do its magic. A light wipe of the cotton and low and behold your skin is perfectly makeup free.
It has a light subtle fragrance of an oil and it doesn’t irritate the eyes at all. It can make the eyes a little blurry for a few seconds, if it gets into them, but a few blinks and a splash of water and you are good to go!
Kusumbhi (Carthamus tinctorius), Arandi (Ricinus communis), Neem (Melia azadirachta), Soya (Anethum sowa), Badam (Prunus amygdalus), Surajmukhi (Helianthus annuus), Malakanguni (Celastrus paniculata), Til Tail (Sesame indicum)
This comes packed in recyclable plastic bottle with a small dispensing point at the top. The screw on cap, does its job well and doesn’t let the product leak at all. It really isn’t the classiest of packaging but for the price, it’s justified.
It is available in a single sized 120ml bottle and comes at a very affordable price of ₹175.
Effective, efficient, pocket friendly, all natural – It’s Pros all the way!!
I really don’t have anything to complain… though considering the fact that it does leave the skin oily, I ain’t too sure if it would suit someone with oily skin. They do only recommend this for normal to dry skin!
Overall this makeup remover does its job beautifully and leaves the skin nourished and clean. It leaves behind a squeaky-clean feeling yet doesn’t dry the skin at all. Once you use this, you would need to finish off with a face wash but doesn’t give too much trouble and washes off easily leaving behind a hydrated feeling.
This is a 10/10 in my opinion and have made this one of my Holy Grail products.
